Of the many falls of Yosemite Park, Vernal is my favorite. With my brothers, we climbed to the very top; we continued on up to another falls above. I saw Vernal Falls both in spring, like it is here, and again in late summer when it was scant of flow. The alchemy of tumbling water over the rocks completely fascinated and inspired me with its array of color.
