Driving up Hwy 138 along the North Umpqua River, the first waterfall you come to is this beautiful cascading falls. I happened to hike the heavily wooded, mile long trail a few years before a terrible wildfire swept through and destroyed all these trees. Fortunately I had taken many photographs on that hike to savor the beauty for this painting.
