Photos I’d taken on our tour of Italy sparked the memories of these window boxes overlooking the canals with lush flowering vines cascading down as gondolas pass beneath. How vibrant the brilliant, contrasting colors appeared. I’ll never forget my visit to Venice… so historic and romantic.
