My travels through Italy gave me many opportunities for drawing inspiration. I especially loved the many vineyards that surrounded the Tuscan style homes and I wanted to paint them all. But since we were on the move, I took many pictures and painted this scene from a compilation of several photos. I tried to capture the essence of the beautiful wine making area of Tuscany.
