This lighthouse stands at the mouth of the Coquille River in Bandon, Oregon. After I moved away from there it was painted a brighter color that I’m not fond of. In the early years when I lived there it was an old, rusty, weathered white. So picturesque, that I painted it many times. After it was repainted a new, clean white, that’s when I saw and painted this awe-inspiring sky above the lighthouse.
