While studying books on Italy, I fell in love with the scenery and decided I should try painting with acrylics since we would be traveling by car and oils take too long to dry. That went fine in my pre-trip paintings. But on the tour it was a different story; they dried too fast. I decided to wait until we came home and paint the rest of the tour in oil.
