The story behind this commission painting was a request to secretly make my reference photos unnoticed by the lady of the house. It was to be a surprise for her and would hang over a huge fireplace in their very old ranch house. He also requested that each building he had added to the ranch was to show in the painting. This was not an easy task but with the help of his neighbor I was able to accomplish the mission.
